Meet us in Calgary

Nexceris is at the 250th meeting of The Electrochemical Society with a talk on three decades of commercializing ceramic electrochemical technology. Meet us to talk about your solid oxide or catalyst program, from lab-scale results to pilot-scale production.

What we’ll discuss

  • Solid oxide materials, planar cells, and interconnect coatings for fuel cell and electrolysis development.
  • Custom catalyst development and scale-up for reforming, methanol synthesis, and Fischer–Tropsch synthesis.
  • Closing the gap between lab-scale experiments and pilot-scale demonstrations.

Sessions

· 5:00–5:20 pm

Room 220, Level 2

Three decades of success in commercializing ceramic electrochemical technology

Nexceris began in 1994 developing solid oxide fuel cell materials and has since sold solid oxide products to more than 800 customers in 80 countries. The talk traces how the same approach produced the Li-ion Tamer® battery safety technology, sold to Honeywell in 2025, and today’s catalyst business, all without outside investment.
