This composite air electrode powder is a 50/50 wt% mixture of lanthanum strontium manganite and yttrium stabilized zirconia and is typically used as the first layer in a two-layer cathode, where the second (top) layer is pure LSM. This two-layer approach provides higher performance than single-layer LSM cathodes and is best used with YSZ ceramic electrolyte materials. Our LSM/YSZ cathode material can be applied by screen printing or painting after it is formulated into appropriate inks or suspensions.
