Nexceris is excited to announce their participation in the 2023 FECM Spring R&D Project Review Meeting on April 18-20, 2023, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The conference provides a forum to present the results from more than 100 research projects funded by the DOE’s Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management (FECM) programs. Nexceris will present in a couple of the FECM program areas including Reversible Solid Oxide Fuel Cells and Energy Asset Transformation.
Alex Vaeth, an engineer in Nexceris’ Solid Oxide Business Unit, will be presenting on Versatile Reversible Solid Oxide Cell System for Hydrogen and Electricity Production in front of several experts in the field. Mr. Vaeth will present a poster on this subject as well.
In addition, Dr. Neil Kidner, President of Adena Power, a Nexceris spin-off company, will be presenting on Low-Cost Metal-Supported Metal Halide Energy Storage Technology.
Chris Corwin, who leads the Fuel Cell Materials group at Nexceris, is excited to be able to reconnect with industry partners and get a better understanding of the status of their development and plans for commercialization in the SOFC & SOEC fields.
