We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the following positions.
Nexceris is currently seeking an administrative assistant to work in our Lewis Center, OH office. The administrative assistant will be tasked with routing phone calls, purchasing office and lab supplies, scanning and filing documents, and computer entry-based tasks. Strong interpersonal skills are a must since the assistant will interact with all business groups and our cross-functional teams.
Successful candidates will show strong attention to detail and the ability to work on various activities through a given workday to ensure Nexceris is running smoothly. The exceptional administrative assistant will have opportunities to advance to a specialist role within our administrative group.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answering phones, taking messages, and directing calls
- Serving as point of contact for customers, clients, or suppliers
- Responding to inquires and requests for information
- Ensuring clean and professional communication
- Day to day purchasing activities including but not limited to ownership of all purchasing requirements, checking and maintaining inventory of office and lab supplies, and gas cylinder management
- Supporting teams with administrative tasks
- General upkeep of databases with accurate information
- Assisting with data entry and other tasks as needed
- Coordinating travel for team members, calendar management of shared conference room
- Supporting our order processing team by entering confirmed orders into systems
- Assisting with event planning and coordination
- Drafting and editing correspondence, reports, and presentations
- Organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files
- Proficient in use of full Microsoft Office Suite
- Preparing documents for meetings and presentations
- Handling confidential information with discretion
Skills and Qualifications:
- Self-motivated, can-do attitude
- Efficient, detail-oriented individual, ability to prioritize work schedule
- Strong communication skills to interface with diverse range of internal team members and customers
- 1-2 years of experience working in an office environment preferred
- Understanding of accounting and CRM software (QuickBooks)
- High school diploma or GED
- US citizenship or permanent residency
You will be directly involved in the manufacturing of materials for the fuel cell and next generation battery industry. You must be both safety and quality focused, and willing to work in a fast-paced environment. You must be comfortable with both standard and custom production activities, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a desire to learn new skills and capabilities. Nexceris believes in a culture of rapid change and continuous improvement. You will take the initiative to proactively seek out additional responsibilities. Experience leading teams or projects is preferred.
Job responsibilities:
- Activities such as weighing, mixing, milling, sieving, spray coating, synthesis of ceramic powders, and performing quality control tests on materials

- Operating and maintaining production equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Accurately following written batch instructions while recording process data and observations
- Record and report product quality and performance information thoroughly
Job requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Two-year technical degree or hands-on experience in industrial processing, custom processing or Research and Development preferred; experience with materials characterization is a plus
- Able to work first shift Monday – Friday, with overtime offered
- Must be consistent, observant, and conscientious
- Practical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- LEAN experience preferred
- Leading teams or project is a plus
- Proficient with MS Office applications
- Able to stand and walk 6-8 hours per day and able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds
- Must be able to execute non-standard tasks while maintaining a focus on Quality and Safety
- Must be comfortable wearing PPE, including a respirator for certain activities
- Takes pride and ownership of your work
- Delivers quality results when under time pressure
- Able to prioritize your workload to meet delivery commitments
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of the company
