FCM Team Speaking at ICACC Conference

Nexceris is excited to present the results of a SOFC development project at the 44th International Conference and Expo on Advanced Ceramics and Composites (ICACC) which will take place in Daytona Beach, Florida from January 26-31, 2020.

The ICACC conference, sponsored by the American Ceramic Society, includes the 17th International Symposium on Solid Oxide Cells (SOC): Materials, Science and Technology. The conference is attended by many in academia and industry to discuss the latest work in solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC) and solid oxide electrolyzer cells (SOEC). Due to the high quality technical presentations and unique networking opportunities, this event has achieved tremendous worldwide interest and has attracted active participation from ceramic researchers and developers from the global technical community.

Cody Lockhart, a member of our Materials Science team, will be giving a talk on Novel Sealing Approach for Improving SOFC Durability on Tuesday, January 28 at 9:20am (in the Crystal Room).  The presentation will highlight the improved sealing behavior achieved with this new sealing approach that is designed to address the challenge facing solid oxide fuel cell developers as they strive to achieve the service lifetimes necessary for greater commercial acceptance. Lockhart will be joined by colleague Dr. Emir Dogdibegovic who will also be in attendance.

Please email Dr. Emir Dogdibegovic or Cody Lockhart to learn how our SOFC & SOEC technologies can help provide solutions for you and about all the exciting new technologies that we have been working on this past year.

You also can learn more about the session in the Conference Program on page 22. Download the program by clicking on the image below.
